Domestic Violence
Awareness

What is
Domestic Violence?

Domestic Violence (DV), also known as Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), is a pattern of behavior used by one partner to exert power and control over another partner in an intimate relationship.

Unfortunately, the stigmas and misconceptions surrounding domestic violence make it difficult for victims to speak up, report, or seek assistance.

Many fear the consequences from their partner or peers and do not receive the help they deserve.
